Bio
Zephyr Love is an American rock band led by songwriter Chris McCollum, blending the melodic ambition of seventies rock icons like the Who, Boston, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young with a modern, road-tested edge.
Formed in Austin, Texas around 2011 by Chris and his two siblings, the project paused for nearly a decade while Chris pursued music with Makeshift Parachutes after relocating to New Zealand. In 2023, Chris revived Zephyr Love, writing and releasing a full album under the name and rebuilding the band through several lineups.
Since then, Zephyr Love has toured New Zealand and the United States, released five singles with three more scheduled this year, and built momentum off the strength of their breakout track "Homage." Known for electrifying live shows, the band has earned a reputation as a must-see act, captivating audiences locally and internationally with their latest single "AI AI OH" Zephyr Love continues to evolve as a rising force in the rock scene.
Looking ahead, the band is preparing for a historic feat: one hundred consecutive live shows across all forty-eight contiguous United States, with no repeat cities, set to launch in April 2027. If completed as planned, this would be the first tour of its kind and scale attempted by any artist.
